About Dissemination	English (USA)
The Dissemination Listserv is used by members of the National Client Services Team to disseminate information to support the delivery of safe, evidence-based quality services to our clients by a range of providers (e.g. Nursing, Personal Support, Volunteer and Allied Health). This information is work done by the National Client Services Team, often in collaboration with internal and/ or external experts across the country. It can also include relevant information from governments, professional associations, and regulatory bodies. In the past, this information was sent out to Branch Executive Directors and they faced many challenges in getting the information to the frontline providers. The intention is to reach increasing numbers of staff directly. It is mandatory for all Managers/Coordinators/Supervisors who support the delivery of services at the frontline to register on the Dissemination Listserv because they are accountable for being up-to-date re: any changes in policy/ practice or emerging risks. They are ultimately accountable for ensuring relevant information reaches their frontline providers to ensure they are delivering current, safe, quality care. It is also for any paid VON staff (nurses, allied health professionals, personal support workers) that provides direct service to our clients. Using Dissemination
To post a message to all the list members, send email to dissemination@lists.von.ca. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to Dissemination
Subscribe to Dissemination by filling out the following form. This is a closed list, which means your subscription will be held for approval. You will be notified of the list moderator's decision by email. This is also a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. (Note that this is an umbrella list, intended to have only other mailing lists as members. Among other things, this means that your confirmation request will be sent to the `-owner' account for your address.) Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
